Ajay Arya

Ajay Arya is a highly experienced microbiologist with a focus on microbial applications in agriculture and product development. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Kula Bio, Ajay specializes in identifying biofertilizers and formulating shelf-stable products to enhance crop performance. Previous experience includes a role as Senior Scientist I at Conagen, where Ajay engineered microbial strains for flavoring and fragrance production, and as Research Professional IV at the UGA New Materials Institute, concentrating on microbial production of biodegradable plastics. Education includes a Ph.D. in Microbiology from The University of Georgia and dual degrees in Chemistry, Microbiology, and Economics from the University of Florida.
