Patricia Walker is a Strain Development Scientist at Kula Bio since April 2023. Patricia earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Plant & Microbial Biology from Washington University in St. Louis, where involvement included work in the lab of Dr. Himadri Pakrasi from August 2016 to December 2022 as a PhD candidate. Prior experiences include roles as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in Dr. Sara Baer's prairie restoration lab at Southern Illinois University, a Bioenergy Summer Researcher in Dr. Daniel Amador-Noguez's Bacteriology lab at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Restoration Intern at McHenry County Conservation District, IT Support at Southern Illinois University, and a Habitat Restoration Intern at the National Audubon Society. Educational background also includes a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Biochemical Plant Physiology from Southern Illinois University and an Associate of Science in Biology from Harper College.
