Thomas Kalunge is a seasoned professional in digital transformation and innovation, currently serving as Digital Transformation Manager at ERGO Group AG since December 2024. As the Founder of KuLKids, a company focusing on children's books and media with an emphasis on diversity, Kalunge has demonstrated entrepreneurial leadership since February 2019. Previous experience includes strategic advisory roles at Infosys Consulting as a Senior Consultant in Artificial Intelligence and Business Experience, and as Digitalization & Innovation Expert at BASF. Additionally, Kalunge has contributed as a trainer and consultant for Access 2 Perspectives, focusing on entrepreneurial education and design thinking. With a strong academic background including a Master’s degree from Technische Universität Berlin and a certificate in Design Thinking from Hasso Plattner Institute, Kalunge possesses extensive expertise in business analytics, market trends, and data-driven solutions.

Diversity is everywhere. You can see it and hear it: Growing up with multiple languages is particularly important for children. In kid's books and toys this diversity is not usually displayed, though. We founded KuLKids to fill this gap! Our Klix-Books are meant for reading and playing, they foster multilinguality and support motoric skills. This way, kids learn to cross borders when playing and reading, both in their mind, with creativity and by discovering themselves each other.
