Mare Pihel is an experienced professional in human resources management, currently serving as a Co-ordinator for Open Calls at the Estonian Ministry of Culture since November 2022. Previously, Mare held the position of Human Resources Manager at Georg Ots Tallinn Music College from August 2020 to September 2022 and at the Estonian Ministry of Education and Research from June 2017 to July 2020. Earlier in the career, Mare was the Head of the Personnel Office at Tallinn University of Technology for 17 years, from July 2000 to June 2017. Mare holds a Master's degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration from TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Law from the University of Tartu.
