Angie Merkel, MBA has worked in various roles in the healthcare industry since 1983. Angie began their career at CompCare as a Market Development Specialist. Angie then moved to OptimumCare as VP of Operations, where they participated in a successful IPO. After this, they joined National Medical Enterprises as Executive Director of Business Development. In 1993, Angie joined Transitional Hospitals Corporation as VP of Marketing and Business Development. In 1997, they became VP and General Manager at Caredata.com, where they increased the profitability of the business unit by 10% within the first year. In 2001, they joined Thomson Healthcare as Senior Director of Client Services and Strategic Marketing. Angie was instrumental in the due diligence and post-merger integration activities of Solucient acquisition that doubled the size of the TR business from $150M to $300M. In 2007, they joined ForeSee Results as Corporate Director of Client Services. In 2013, they joined Health Integrated, Inc. as Sr Vice President of Marketing, Sales, Implementation and Client Services. Angie developed efficient and repeatable Implementation processes scalable for growth, reduced the 'Go Live' timeline by 3 weeks on average, resulting in ~$500K annual savings, remodeled the Client Services team focused on customer retention and revenue growth, and provided senior leadership for significant organizational growth. In 2014, they founded Merkel Consulting, where they help companies grow. Finally, in 2016, they joined Kumanu (formerly JOOL Health) as Sr Vice President of Client Success.
Angie Merkel earned their MBA from Pepperdine University between 1986 and 1988, focusing on Business. Prior to that, they received their BBA from Western Michigan University between 1978 and 1982, also focusing on Business.
