Lisa Schutte has an extensive work experience spanning over 25 years. Lisa began their career in 1993 as the Director of Bioengineering Research at Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare. In the same year, they also held the role of Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota. In 1997, Lisa moved to Transom Technologies where they were a Senior Scientist. Lisa then joined Engineering Animation Inc. in 1998 as a Principal Scientist. In 2000, Lisa became the Director of Product Management at Mechanical Dynamics Inc. and then moved to MSC.Software in 2002 to take on the role of Director of Process and Quality and Director of Product Management. In 2010, Lisa joined Ideomed Inc. as the VP of Technology and grew the company from two employees to over 30. In 2015, Lisa became the Chief Technology Officer at Kumanu, formerly known as JOOL Health.
Lisa Schutte attended Michigan State University from 1983 to 1986, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Lisa then returned to Michigan State University from 1987 to 1988, earning a Master of Science degree in Engineering Mechanics. Finally, they attended Stanford University from 1988 to 1993, where they earned a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering.
