Tin-Yun Ho

Tin-Yun Ho is the current Vice President of Product at Kumo. Tin-Yun has also served as a Product Leader at Google for Cloud AI, and as an embedded analyst for the healthcare team at Palantir Technologies. In addition, they are the founder and president of Beyond Orders, and has also served as an assistant to the Head of Economic Development at the Louisiana Recovery Authority.

Ho has always been interested in technology and its potential to change the world. After completing their undergraduate degree in computer science, they worked as a software engineer for a few years before deciding to pursue a career in product management. Tin-Yun believes that product managers have the unique ability to impact both the technical direction of a product and the business strategy, and they enjoy being able to work on both aspects of product development.

At Google, Ho was responsible for leading the team that developed the Vertex AI platform, as well as for personalization features such as Recommendations AI and Cloud Fleet Routing. Tin-Yun also oversaw the development of video offerings such as the Video Intelligence APIs. In their role at Palantir, they identified opportunities to leverage the Palantir platform in healthcare, and laid out a plan for how Palantir could win in this space.

Beyond Orders is a company that Ho founded in order to help businesses make better decisions by providing them with data-driven insights. The company has developed a software platform that uses machine learning to analyze data and provide recommendations to businesses. Ho believes that this type of data-driven decision making will become increasingly important in the business world, and they are excited to be at the forefront of this trend.
