Scientist II at Kumquat Biosciences

Chang Chang began their work experience in 2013 with a summer internship at UCLA. In 2014, they joined the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as a Graduate Research Assistant, where they worked on peptide-based natural product engineering and mechanistic study of post-translational enzymes. They also served as a Safety Officer from 2016 to 2019. In 2018, Chang Chang worked as a Commercialization Analyst Intern at the University of Illinois Office of Technology Management and as a Consultant at Illinois Business Consulting. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Kumquat Biosciences Inc. as a Scientist I and later became a Scientist II in 2022.

Chang Chang earned a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Sichuan University in 2014. From 2014 to 2019, Chang pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Chemistry at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. In 2017, Chang also completed the Fox Family Entrepreneurship and Innovation Certificate Program at the same university.
