Zheng Long

Zheng Long began their work experience in 2011 as an intern at GSK Shanghai. In 2020, they joined the University of California San Diego as a Postdoctoral Scholar before transitioning to Kumquat Biosciences Inc. in the same year. At Kumquat Biosciences, Zheng started as a Scientist I and later advanced to the role of Scientist II in 2023.

Zheng Long has a strong educational background in biochemistry and related fields. Zheng obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry from UC San Diego, attending from 2014 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Science (MS) in Biochemistry at Texas A&M University, where they studied from 2011 to 2013. Zheng also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Physical Chemistry from Penn State University, earned in 2011, and another Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the same institution, completed from 2006 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Zheng Long has pursued further certifications. Zheng completed the "Inspiring Leadership through Emotional Intelligence" course offered by Coursera Course Certificates, and also obtained the "DeepLearning.AI TensorFlow Developer" certification from deeplearning.ai in September 2020. Although the obtained month and year are not specified for the "Machine Learning Methods" and "TensorFlow: Advanced Techniques Specialization" certifications, it can be inferred that Zheng obtained these certifications at some point.
