Job Summary
The Paralegal will provide critical support to the GRC department by assisting in the preparation, review, and management of legal documents and processes. The role involves administrative and research duties, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and supporting the legal team.
Duties and Responsibilities (What you’ll do)
Draft, review, and edit contracts, legal correspondence, and other documentation under the supervision of the Legal Counsel.
Assist in the preparation of legal memoranda and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Organize and maintain legal files, ensuring accessibility and confidentiality of sensitive information.
Coordinate with internal departments to gather necessary information for legal matters and contract preparation.
Support compliance initiatives, including training sessions, audits, and policy updates.
Maintain a calendar of deadlines for legal filings, hearings, and other important legal activities.
Skill and Qualifications (What you’ll bring)
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Legal Management, Political Science, or any related field.
Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in a legal or administrative role is preferred but not required.
Knowledge:
Understanding of Philippine legal and regulatory frameworks.
Familiarity with legal terminology, documentation, and filing systems.
Skill and Abilities:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a hybrid work setup.
High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and legal research platforms.
