Roland Ros

CEO at Kumu

Roland Ros is the CEO of Kumu, a position they have held since February 2019. Prior to that, they were a Board Member at Kaya Collaborative from January 2016 to February 2019. Kaya Collaborative is a company that aims to inspire, educate, and mobilize diaspora youth as partners in long-term, locally-led social change in the Philippines. From October 2015 to June 2018, Roland was the Vice President at Spark Revenue, LLC. Spark Revenue is an executive for Inc 500 Listed performance marketing technology company. Roland helped develop a world class customer acquisition platform that delivered millions of customers for large brands. In April 2015, Roland started their role as an Advisor at Agora.io and continued in that role until June 2018. Agora provides the building blocks developers need to add HD RTC to any mobile app. Agora has raised $125 million USD in funding and has been installed in over 2 billion mobile devices. From January 2015 to October 2015, Roland was the Strategic Partnerships at ConsumerTrack, Inc. And finally, from March 2011 to July 2012, Roland was the VP Business Development at MediaTrust.

Roland Ros has a BA from University of California, Santa Barbara in Asian American Studies. Roland also has a Philippine Language, Culture, Theirtory, Literature, and Community Immersion certification from Tagalog On Site Study Abroad Program. Roland started but did not finish an MBA at University of Liverpool Management School and a MA in Theology at Fuller Theological Seminary. Roland has also completed Executive Education in Strategic Leadership from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, Fundamentals of Quantitative Modeling from The Wharton School, and has received certifications from Wharton Online | The Wharton School in Fundamentals of Quantitative Modeling, Yale University in Moralities of Everyday Life, and Villanova University in Six Sigma Green Belt.
