Rui Fortuna

Rui Fortuna is currently working as the SVP of InfoSys, InfoSec, and User Engagement at Kumu since September 2023. Prior to this role, Rui was the VP of Information Security at Kumu from July 2021 to September 2023. Before joining Kumu, Rui worked as the Head of Production Security at Maya from August 2019 to July 2021. Rui also served as the DevSecOps Manager and Data Protection Officer at uPraxis Global Limited from October 2018 to July 2019. Additionally, Rui held the position of R&D Department Manager at VALTES Advanced Technology from April 2017 to September 2018. Rui started their career at Trend Micro, where they served as a Program Manager for Application Control from December 2012 to March 2017, a Team Leader for Global Threat Response from December 2009 to December 2012, and an Anti-Malware Engineer from June 2007 to December 2009.

Rui Fortuna obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Colegio de San Juan de Letran in the years 2003-2007. Rui also has additional certifications in DevOps Foundation (obtained in 2020), ISTQB CTFL (obtained in 2018), and ITIL V3 Foundation (obtained in 2011). Rui also holds a certification in Lean Six Sigma, but no further details are provided.
