Kathleen Starmer

Kathleen Starmer has a wealth of experience in the technology and scientific fields. Kathleen began their career in 1997 as a Docent and Lab Manager at Stanford University. In 2001, they joined NASA Ames Research Center as the Director of Business Development for the NASA Emerging Commercial Space Office. Kathleen also served as the Contractor Representative for the Ames Exchange Council and Business Development and Marketing Specialist for SAIC. In 2002, they became the Director of the Ames Contractor Council and incorporated the Council to 501(c)(4) status. In 2011, they joined Singularity University as a Summer Faculty, and in 2012 they became the Membership Director of the Silicon Valley Space Business Roundtable. In 2013, they founded Vosvado Smart Travel and in 2015 they founded Kumulus Technologies, where they serve as the Founder and COO. Kathleen specializes in helping companies of all sizes build and utilize both private and hybrid clouds and is fluent in both open source and closed source.

Kathleen Starmer attended the University of Idaho from 1993 to 1995, where they earned an M.S. in Plant Genetics. Kathleen then attended The University of New Mexico from 1990 to 1992, where they earned a B.S. in Biology.
