David Klattborg

David Klättborg has a diverse work experience. David co-founded and served as the Managing Partner at Megadeals Advisory in 2019. Prior to that, they worked at American Express for several years, holding various roles. From 2016 to 2019, they were the Market Head Nordic and VD Affärspartners for Global Merchant Services, leading the Merchant Services business in the Nordics. In this role, their team achieved high employee scores and received recognition as the most innovative market in Europe. Before that, they were the Director of Merchant Acquisition Nordic, where they successfully transformed coverage in the Nordics and drove double-digit growth.

In 2015, David briefly worked as the Regional Sales Director Nordic at MoneyGram International. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Sales Manager Merchant Acquisition at American Express from 2014 to 2015, leading the acquiring business for Merchant Services in the Nordics. David successfully increased sales and developed various sales channels.

David's tenure at American Express started in 2006, where they worked as a Client Manager responsible for the largest merchants in Sweden and Finland. David also handled cancellation threats and saved merchant agreements worth millions of dollars. In addition, they held the role of Client Manager, focusing on growing the business of American Express's largest and most important merchants in Sweden and Finland.

Before joining American Express, David worked at the Stockholm Police Department. David held roles as a Legal Expert and Police Inspector, where they produced referrals and statements to various authorities and led emergency operations in the county of Stockholm. David was promoted to Police Inspector after only three years of duty, making him one of the youngest police inspectors in the history of the Swedish Police Force.

David Klättborg has a strong educational background in law. David earned a Master of Law (180 points) from Stockholm University, specializing in Company Law, from 2000 to 2004. Prior to that, they completed their Gymnasieexamen in Humanistisk vetenskap from Östra Real between 1992 and 1995. In addition to their academic qualifications, David Klättborg has obtained certifications in areas such as Growth Hacking and Megadeals Advisory from institutions like Growth Tribe Academy and Megadeals Advisory.
