Kari Janhonen

Kari Janhonen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Kari started their career as a Statutory Auditor at Kuopio University Hospital (KUH) in 2006. Kari then moved on to become the Acting Chief Financial Officer before taking on the role of Project Leader. Later, they served as the General Support Services manager and eventually became the Chief Financial Officer. In 2012, they went back to being the Acting Chief Financial Officer until 2013 when they became the official Chief Financial Officer. Prior to their time at KUH, they worked as a Regional Manager at Deloitte Finland from 1997 to 2005.

Kari Janhonen completed their Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting and Finance from the University of Tampere from 1980 to 1985. Additionally, they obtained certifications as an Authorized Public Accountant (KHT) from Keskuskauppakamari in 2004 and as an Authorized Public Accountant (JHT) from The board of JHTT, Ministry of Finance in November 1994. Kari also holds a certification as a Legalized Real Estate Broker (LKV) from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment of Finland.
