Samu Kainulainen is a skilled researcher with extensive experience in clinical neurophysiology, sleep medicine, and biosignal analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Researcher at Kuopio University Hospital and the University of Eastern Finland, Samu has held various research positions, including Postdoctoral and Junior Researcher roles. Additionally, Samu manages a project focused on the development of next-generation medical devices as part of an EU regional fund initiative. With a solid academic foundation, including a PhD in Health/Medical Physics, a Master's, and a Bachelor's degree in Physics, Samu is also recognized as a Docent in Medical Physics and Biosignal Analytics in Sleep Medicine. Furthermore, Samu contributes to humanitarian efforts as a member of the International Delegate Reserve for the Finnish Red Cross.
