Tuomas Viren

Tuomas Viren is a seasoned medical physicist currently serving at Kuopio University Hospital since March 2012, with a role encompassing medical physicist and assistant physicist responsibilities. Previously, Tuomas held postdoctoral fellow and researcher positions at the University of Eastern Finland from October 2009 to June 2017. Academic qualifications include a Title of Docent in Health/Medical Physics from the University of Eastern Finland (2005-2016), a Medical Physicist degree from the University of Oulu (2012-2015), a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Medical Physics from the University of Eastern Finland (2009-2011), and a Master's Degree in Medical Physics from the same institution (2005-2009).
