Karen Turner

Karen Turner is an experienced Business Support Specialist at KUOW Public Radio, a position held since June 1997, where responsibilities include supporting the research and reporting needs of the Director of Business Support and contributing to significant fundraising efforts, achieving over $4 million in FY18. Prior to this role, Karen served as a Brokers Assistant at Columbia Futures Group from February 1996 to July 1997, focusing on order input and client account maintenance. Karen holds a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) degree from the University of Washington (1999-2006) and a Bachelor of Arts in American History from Mills College (1990-1992). Additionally, Karen attended Western Washington University and Willamette University during the 1970s.
