Kate McElhone

Kate McElhone has extensive experience in the field of intellectual property law. Kate has held senior positions in various renowned companies, including Kura Oncology, Inc., where they currently serve as the Senior Director of Intellectual Property. Prior to this, they worked at Johnson & Johnson as a Senior Patent Counsel, providing patent support for programs in Infectious Diseases, Neuroscience, and Oncology. Later, from 2004 to 2008, Kate attended the University of San Diego School of Law, where they earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree. In addition to their academic achievements, Kate also acquired additional certifications, including being admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and obtaining the California Bar certification from the State Bar of California.
