Kathleen Ford

Kathleen Ford is the Chief Operating Officer at Kura Oncology. Kathleen has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

Kathleen started their career as a CRA at MTRA in 1988. Kathleen then moved to Alkermes in 1993, where they became the Senior Director of Clinical Operations. In 2002, they moved to Millennium Pharmaceuticals as the VP of Clinical Operations. In 2012, they joined EMD Serono, Inc. as the SVP of Global Clinical Operations.

During their time at EMD Serono, Kathleen was responsible for overseeing all clinical operations for the company. This included developing and implementing strategies to improve clinical trial productivity and efficiency. Kathleen also oversaw the budget and finances for clinical operations.

In May 2017, Kathleen left EMD Serono to join Kura Oncology as the Chief Operating Officer. In this role, they are responsible for all aspects of the company's operations, including finance, business development, and product development.

They are on a team with Roger Bakale - VP, Head of CMC, Clinical and Commercial Manufacturing, Kirsten Flowers - Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Corporate Strategy Officer, and Pete De Spain - SPV, Investor Relations & Corporate Communications. Kathleen Ford reports to Troy Wilson , President & CEO .
