Samantha Rand

Samantha Rand has over 13 years of experience in various roles within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Samantha is currently working as an Associate Director CMC Project Management at Kura Oncology, Inc. Prior to that, they were a Senior Program Manager at SomaLogic and a Senior Manager Regulatory Affairs CMC at NOVAVAX INC. Samantha also worked as a CMC Program Manager at Dicerna Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and held multiple roles at Indivior, including Senior Project Manager, CMC and CMC Project Manager. Samantha has experience in project management, stakeholder management, and regulatory affairs. Samantha has also worked at GSK, Novartis Vaccines, Duke Human Vaccine Institute, Colorado State University, and Liquidia Technologies, gaining valuable skills in program management, research, teaching, and lab coordination.

Samantha Rand obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology with Departmental Honors from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, which they attended from 2003 to 2007. Samantha further pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology at Colorado State University, where they studied from 2009 to 2011.
