Toyin Akinbola

Toyin Akinbola is an experienced professional in pharmacovigilance and drug safety, currently serving as the Executive Director of Pharmacovigilance at Kura Oncology, Inc. since September 2022. Prior roles include Senior Director and Head of Drug Safety Operations at OncXerna Therapeutics, as well as Risk Management Lead positions at Takeda and Shire. Toyin's career began at Eli Lilly and Company, progressing through roles in global patient safety, and earlier experience includes a postdoctoral research associate position at the University of Leeds. Toyin holds a PhD in Molecular Vascular Medicine from the University of Leeds and an MSc in Oncology from the University of Nottingham.
