Brian Chapman

Brian Chapman is a seasoned professional in the elastomers sector, currently serving as the General Manager of the Elastomers Business Unit at Kuraray America, Inc., since May 2014. In this role, Brian oversees production, sales, and technical service/R&D for the Kuraray Elastomers business unit in the USA, specifically manufacturing and marketing styrenic block copolymers under well-known tradenames such as SEPTON and HYBRAR. Previously, Brian held the position of Technical Service and Development Manager at Kuraray America Inc. from March 2003 to May 2014, where responsibilities included overseeing technical service and development activities for the elastomer business across the Americas. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Engineer at Solvay Engineered Polymers, Project Engineer at Trexel, and Technical Service Engineer at ICI Fluoropolymers. Brian holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University.
