Takaharu Kawahara

Takaharu Kawahara has held various leadership positions at Kuraray America, Inc., starting in February 2022, serving as both the President and CEO. Prior to this, they worked at Kuraray as an Officer and General Manager of the Technology division, starting in January 2020. Takaharu also held the role of Executive Officer, General Manager of the Production and Technology Management division, starting in January 2018. Before joining Kuraray America, Inc., they served as the VP of Operations and Technology at Kuraray Europe GmbH from January 2015 to December 2017.

Takaharu Kawahara received their Master of Science degree from Hokkaido University from 1985 to 1987. Prior to that, they attended an unspecified school from 1976 to 1979.
