Malene Sander

Malene Sander has a strong background in finance and has held various CFO positions throughout their career. Malene most recently worked as a CFO at Kurhotel Skodsborg from 2023 to the present. Prior to that, they were the Head of Finance Outsourcing at Deloitte Consulting from 2022 to 2023. Malene has also held CFO roles at Hjerteforeningen from 2017 to 2019, Teknologiens Mediehus from 2013 to 2017, and SundhedsDoktor A/S from 2011 to 2013. In addition, Malene has extensive experience at Deloitte - Enterprise Risk Services, where they served as a Practice Support Manager and Financial Accountant from 1996 to 2011. Malene also worked as an External Lecturer at Copenhagen Business School from 2004 to 2007, where they co-created a new bachelor degree in Psychology and Finance.

Malene Sander's education history begins in 2002 when they attended the Copenhagen Business School and obtained a Master's degree in Strategy, Organisation, and Leadership. Malene continued their education at the same institution and completed a degree in Management Accounting in 2000. In 2002, they also pursued a NLP Master Practitioner program at the Dansk NLP Institut.

Throughout their career, Sander further enhanced their knowledge and skills through various executive programs and additional classes. In 2004-2005, they took an additional class in Business Law at the Copenhagen Business School. In 2008, they attended an executive class on Corporate Performance Measurement offered by CBS Executive Fonden. The following year, they expanded their expertise in organizational change management by completing an additional class in HD(ØP) at Copenhagen Business School.

Continuing their executive education, Sander participated in an executive class on Corporate Finance at CBS Executive Fonden in 2016. That same year, they enrolled in an executive leadership program called VL89 at Mannaz.

In 2018-2019, Sander focused on professional development in customer-oriented leadership, completing the Kundeorienteret Lederskab (KuLe) program at the Copenhagen Business School.

In addition to their formal education, Sander also obtained a board certificate in intensive board training from Board Assure in 2015.
