Dominic Fulgoni

Dominic Fulgoni began their work experience as a Research Associate at the University of Warwick in 2002. Dominic then worked as a Process Engineer at AdvanceSis Ltd from 2005 to 2006, where they developed SiGe virtual substrates for strained Si electronic devices. From 2007 to 2013, Fulgoni held two positions at Circadian Solar, first as a Senior Growth Engineer and then as a Senior Semiconductor Engineer. Dominic provided custom epitaxy of selective and non-selective Si, SiGe, and pure Ge, and also trialed novel Ge precursors and created device structures in Ge-on-glass.

Afterward, Fulgoni worked at Teer Coatings Ltd from 2014 to 2016 as an Equipment Development Engineer. In this role, they helped develop industrial-scale PVD batch coating equipment and led a project to develop 3D magnetic field and plasma modeling software.

Fulgoni then served as a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Warwick in 2016 before becoming an Operations Manager at MSS Lasers from 2017 to 2018. Currently, they are employed as an Installation, Service, and Applications Engineer at Kurt J. Lesker Company. In this position, Fulgoni installs, upgrades, and services deposition systems, provides training and technical support, and contributes to system development and deposition trials in the EMEIA Demo Lab.

Dominic Fulgoni's education history began in 1994 when they enrolled at the University of Leicester for a period of four years. Dominic completed their Bachelor of Physics (Hons) degree in 1998. Following their undergraduate studies, Dominic pursued further education and joined the University of Warwick in 1998. Dominic spent four years at the university and obtained their Ph.D. in Semiconductor Physics in 2002.
