Sean Armstrong

Sean Armstrong serves as the Global Business Development Manager at KDF Technologies, LLC since January 2022, and has been a Technical Sales Manager at Kurt J. Lesker Company since May 2011, focusing on Thin Film Deposition products. Additionally, in his capacity as Global Product Realization Manager at Kurt Lesker, Sean managed new product and process development for thin film vacuum deposition systems. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Device Manufacturing Engineering and Manager of Device Fabrication at Plextronics, where leadership was provided in the design and commercialization of Organic Photovoltaic modules and the startup of a Printed Electronics pilot manufacturing line. Sean's career began at GE Plastics as a Process Engineer, where innovative developments in optical coatings and thermoplastic polymers were made, coupled with a foundational role as a Materials Scientist at GE Global Research, contributing to various polymer materials and processes. Sean earned an MBA from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst and a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science Engineering from Lehigh University.
