Alex Basta

Alex Basta is an experienced real estate professional currently serving as an Acquisitions Associate at Kushner since January 2020. Previously, Alex completed a rotational internship at Ladder Capital Finance LLC in early 2019, gaining exposure to Underwriting, Transaction Management, Asset Management, and Legal while meeting the final credit requirements for a JD degree. In the summer of 2018, Alex worked as a Development Summer Associate at ICON Residential, where systems were introduced to enhance the operations of a prominent real estate developer, and responsibilities included managing permitting and insurance for a company generating over $75 million in revenue. Alex holds an MBA in Real Estate and a JD from the University of Florida, as well as a BS in Finance from the same institution.
