Lauren Phinney

Lauren Phinney is an accomplished news anchor with extensive experience in broadcasting, currently serving as the News Anchor for KUSI Television since March 2014, where responsibilities include anchoring for Good Morning San Diego. Prior to this role, Lauren held the position of Lead Anchor at ABC 7 WWSB-TV from April 2010 to March 2018, anchoring various newscasts and producing weekly health stories, earning the Florida Broadcaster's Club of FL “Rising Star 2012” award. Additional experience includes anchoring and reporting for WTXL ABC27, KECI-TV, and internships at Tribune Broadcasting and KTLA. Lauren Phinney earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs from Loyola Marymount University.
