Leslie Powell

Leslie Powell is a Partner at Kutak Rock, where since July 2011, Leslie has represented domestic and foreign financial institutions in various secured and unsecured lending transactions, emphasizing public finance. This role involves representing lenders in credit or liquidity support for publicly traded debt securities, direct purchases of bonds, and other direct lending activities. Prior to this position, Leslie served as Assistant General Counsel and Coordinator of State Policy at the Center for Community Progress from 2009 to 2011, providing legal and technical assistance to state and local governments for the revitalization of vacant and abandoned properties. Leslie holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Emory University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology from the University of Florida.
