Skylar Young

Skylar Young is a Tech Attorney at Kutak Rock since April 2023, previously serving as a Corporate Attorney at Dvorak Law Group, LLC from May 2022 to March 2023, and as an Associate at Vandenack Weaver Truhlsen from June 2019 to April 2022. Skylar gained legal experience as a Legal Intern at the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless in early 2021 and as a Content Specialist at Law Bulletin Media from January to May 2020. Prior roles include teaching positions at The Soulsville Charter School and involvement with Teach For America, alongside an internship at 50CAN: The 50-State Campaign for Achievement Now. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Law degree from the University of Illinois Chicago, awarded cum laude in 2021, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from Kalamazoo College in 2015.
