Prashant Upadhyay

Prashant Upadhyay is an experienced chemical engineering professional with a strong focus on project management and operations within the chloromethane sector. Currently serving as General Manager of Project & Operations at Kutch Chemical Industries Ltd since February 2023, Prashant is responsible for overseeing plant operations and conducting techno-commercial feasibility analyses. Previously, in the role of Deputy General Manager Operations at GACL-Nalco Alkalies & Chemicals Private Limited, Prashant managed project operations and maintenance for a significant project. With a background that includes positions as Production Project Manager and Process Engineer at various chemical companies, Prashant has consistently contributed to process optimization, safety improvements, and budget reductions. Prashant holds a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from Biju Patnaik University of Technology and is currently pursuing an MBA in Business Analysis from Birla Institute of Technology and Science.
