Itai Wine

Itai Wine has a diverse work experience, beginning with a Sales Associate role at Pottery Barn in 2015. In 2016, they took on two roles, VP First Year Engagement at Hillel Montreal and Event Coordinator at Beth Israel Synagogue (The Family Shul). In 2017, they interned at the University of Alberta and served as VP Administration & Engagement at McGill Bioengineering Undergraduate Student Society (BUSS), where they established the student society, wrote the constitution, and organized lab tours and merchandise. In 2018, they interned at SCE - Shamoon College of Engineering. In 2019, they collaborated as an Engineering Collaborator at Pega Medical Inc, where they designed an orthopedic device for transplant, and also served as a Research Intern at the University of Alberta, where they published a paper. Finally, in 2020 and 2022, they served as Mechanical Design Lead and Mechanical Engineer II, respectively, at PulseMedica and Kuva Systems.

Itai Wine graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from McGill University in 2019. Prior to that, they attended Ross Sheppard Senior Composite High School from 2011 to 2015. In 2017, they obtained certifications in Aseptic technique and WHMIS from the University of Alberta.
