Ahmed Arafa

Ahmed Arafa is an experienced academic and professional in the field of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Kuwait College of Science and Technology since April 2020, Ahmed also holds the position of Senior Applications Engineer and Consultant at ComNav Marine Ltd. since January 2019. Previous roles include Research Scientist at Simon Fraser University, where research focused on sensor fusion algorithms, and Postdoctoral Fellow at Intel Corporation, collaborating with Recon Instruments and Simon Fraser University on wearable technology. Ahmed has also worked as a Researcher and Lecturer at The University of British Columbia, and a Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
