Wasim Parkar

Wasim Parkar has extensive experience in information security, currently serving as Sr. Manager of Information Security Compliance and Awareness at Kuwait Finance House since March 2014, with prior roles including Manager and Assistant Manager in the same domain. Previously, Wasim worked as Sr. IT Security Engineer at Burgan Bank, where responsibilities included system risk assessments, implementing security solutions, and managing vulnerability assessments and compliance with ISO 27001 and PCI-DSS standards. Earlier roles also include Network Security Engineer at Zajil International Telecom, where Wasim designed and implemented network security solutions, conducted risk assessments, and served as Lead Auditor. Wasim's career began as a Network Admin at Honeywell Automation and as a Network Engineer at vCustomer Services India Pvt. Ltd., showcasing a strong foundation in network security and administration. Wasim holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
