Girija Shankar Padhy

Girija Shankar Padhy is a highly experienced petrophysicist currently serving as a Senior Petrophysicist and Subject Matter Expert at Kuwait Oil Company since January 2011. Padhy specializes in integrated petrophysical analysis for carbonate and clastic reservoirs and has successfully developed petrophysical models for unconventional reservoirs. Previously, Padhy held positions at BG Group as a Principal Petrophysicist, focusing on integrated petrophysical characterization and geomechanics studies. Padhy's career also includes significant roles at Schlumberger, University of Waterloo, Core Laboratories, Geoservices, and Oil Field Instrumentation, accumulating extensive expertise in petrophysical analysis and reservoir characterization. Padhy holds a Master of Science in Petroleum Technology from Savitribai Phule Pune University and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Berhampur University.
