Sebastian Trentea

Sebastian Trentea is a seasoned Senior Drilling Performance Engineer at Kuwait Oil Company, with a career spanning over a decade in drilling engineering. Since June 2015, Sebastian has played a key role in defining and implementing drilling KPIs and coordinating task force teams focused on drilling performance optimization. Previously, as a Drilling Performance Engineer, responsibilities included planning and optimizing drilling operations for Deep HPHT wells. Before joining Kuwait Oil Company, Sebastian worked at Petrom from September 2008 to June 2015, initially as a Drilling Engineer and subsequently as a Drilling Supervisor, where tasks involved developing drilling programs and supervising well construction activities. An alumnus of Universitatea Petrol-Gaze din Ploiești, Sebastian holds an Engineer's degree in Mechanical Engineering and has furthered professional development through the "Well Academy" Training Program.
