Vibhu Gupta

Vibhu Gupta is an experienced drilling and workover engineer currently employed at Kuwait Oil Company since April 2025, where responsibilities include leading completion and workover activities in high-pressure, high-temperature environments. Prior to this role, Vibhu served as a Senior Well Engineer at Oilmax Energy Pvt Ltd from April 2023 to April 2025, focusing on the planning and execution of drilling and workover activities with a strong emphasis on operational efficiency and safety standards. Previous positions include Well Engineer at Halliburton, where Vibhu executed Integrated Drilling Services projects and managed offshore well operations, as well as roles at Sterling Oil Exploration and Essar, primarily in well completion and workover engineering. Vibhu holds an Integrated B.Tech in Applied Petroleum Engineering and an MBA in Oil & Gas from UPES, completed in 2014.
