Christian Steen Nielsen

Christian Steen Nielsen has over 25 years of experience in the engineering industry. Christian Steen began their career at Aker Kvaerner, where they held various positions as a Structural Lead and Engineer from 1994 to 2005. In 2006, they joined Aker Engineering & Technology as a Discipline Leader, responsible for the conceptual/FEED design of offshore structures for projects such as Kashagan Phase II and Gjøa Semi FEED and EPCH. In 2011, they became the Vice President of Area Engineering at Kvaerner. Overall, Christian has a strong background in structural engineering and leadership roles within the industry.

Christian Steen Nielsen received a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Structural Engineering from the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences. Christian Steen completed this program from 1987 to 1990. Christian went on to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Structural Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 1991 to 1993.
