Vidar Pedersen

Vidar Pedersen is an experienced MC/Preservation Lead at Aker Solutions, responsible for MC work on the Wellbay of Hugin A, and has been part of the company since September 2017. With a strong background in MC engineering, Pedersen previously contributed to the Johan Sverdrup Hook Up work offshore and held various engineering roles at Kvaerner and Statoil, where responsibilities included piping systems follow-up and discipline punch-outs. Additionally, Pedersen has extensive experience in piping installation and testing, having worked on major projects such as Hebron and Kashagan, leading teams and managing installation schedules to ensure adherence to safety regulations. An engineer by training, Pedersen holds an engineer's degree in Piping from Høyskolen Bergen-Stord and has accumulated more than three decades of industry experience.
