Kristin Schjødt Bitnes

Kristin Schjødt Bitnes currently serves as a Partner and Lawyer at Kvale, a position held since September 2025. Previously, Kristin held various leadership roles, including serving on the Board of Directors for Nordisk Defence Club from June 2021 to November 2025, and as a Board Member of the Advisory Board at West P&I until November 2025. Kristin was an active member of the law committee for the Norwegian Shipowners' Association from November 2017 to September 2025 and served as SVP, Legal and General Counsel at Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics from August 2015 to September 2025. Prior experience includes positions as Senior Legal Counsel at Stolt-Nielsen Limited and multiple roles at Advokatfirmaet Simonsen Vogt Wiig AS, beginning as an Associate in 2005. Kristin completed a Cand. Jur degree in Law at the University of Oslo and participated in an exchange program at The University of North Dakota School of Law.
