Halldór Karl Högnason

Halldór Karl Högnason currently serves as the Head of Treasury at Kvika banki, a position held since January 2010, and has a background in proprietary trading as a market maker. Prior to this role, Halldór worked at Kaupthing Bank from 2005 to December 2009 as a trader specializing in derivatives trading, where responsibilities included market making in foreign exchange, equity, and interest rate derivatives, along with managing ISK-related derivative portfolios. Halldór's career began at Vodafone Iceland, where time was spent as a Communication Systems Engineer from September 1999 to August 2004.
