KvinnoKapital
KvinnoKapital is a network of women within the asset management and asset management related industries in the Nordics. The industry has come a long way in gender equality, but there is still room for improvement and women as well as men have the power and knowledge to close the diversity gap. We believe that a local women’s networking group can help build contacts, exchange experience, share knowledge and inspire each other, thereby strengthening women’s position in the Nordic asset management industry. Membership to the network is free and accessible to all women whose background and current position are related to the asset management industry. To apply, each member presents her motivations, and agrees to share her email address and professional details with the other members of the network. The network has no formal leaders. An informal “board” formed of the most active members keeps track of the membership list, helps organise events and sends our regular updates to the network. All members are highly encouraged to come up with new ideas and suggestions for educational sessions as well as ways to increase engagement and inspire each other. The group meets regularly to listen to inspiring seminars and presentations over lunch or just for an informal after work. Summary of past events, the list of upcoming events and a job board are available on the website (some parts accessible for members only).
