Shannon Thorp

Shannon Thorp is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in various roles within the broadcasting industry. Currently serving as a Creative Services Producer at KVOA-TV since January 2013, Shannon is responsible for writing, shooting, and editing promotions for live newscasts while effectively communicating with production teams to highlight top stories. Shannon's background includes directing live newscasts, technical directing during breaking news, and serving as a floor director and graphic designer, showcasing a diverse skill set across multiple facets of production. Previous experience includes work as a freelance videographer and as a producer, multimedia journalist, and anchor at NAZ Today. Shannon holds a Bachelor's Degree in Advertising with a minor in Electronic Media and Film from Northern Arizona University.
