Garr Di Salvo

Managing Principal, New York City at kW Mission Critical Engineering

Knowledgeable. Garr brings over two decades of mission critical experience to kW MCE as he launches the firm’s sixth office in the heart of Manhattan. Prior to joining the kW team, Garr spent the last decade as Americas Critical Facilities Leader at one of the largest consulting engineering firms in the world. There, Garr grew a team from zero to over 100 engineers and $20M in annual data center project revenue. He is eager to take his successful lessons learned and build a team in the Big Apple. With his experience in complex design, construction management, facilities operation, and systems commissioning—Garr provides clients with a comprehensive picture of their data center facility needs. Not only does Garr cultivate strong, repeat client relationships, he also dedicates time to advancing the industry and is a well-recognized thought leader and published author in educational and networking groups. Garr and his family call New Rochelle home where he is active in his community—working extensively with local youth and service organizations—and loves the outdoors, particularly by the water.
