Mario Schumann

Mario Schumann has extensive work experience in the field of research. Mario started their career in 2012 as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, where they worked until February 2017. In March 2017, they joined KWS Group as a Research Scientist and held this position until December 2019. Mario then progressed to become the Research Lead at KWS Group in January 2020 and is currently in this role.

Mario Schumann received a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Zoology/Animal Biology from Cardiff University/Prifysgol Caerdydd in 2006. Mario then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Applied Entomology from Imperial College London in 2007. Subsequently, from 2007 to 2012, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Agricultural Entomology from The University of Göttingen.
