Viktor Korzun has had extensive work experience in the field of Cereals Biotechnology. Viktor was the Global Lead Scientific Affairs at KWS Group from May 2018 and previously served as the Head of Breeding Technologies Cereals at the same company from January 1999 to April 2018. Additionally, they held the position of Head of Cereals Biotechnology at both the GABI Research Program in Germany and Lochow-Petkus GmbH during their tenure with those organizations. Prior to that, Viktor worked as a PostDoc at IPK Gatersleben from 1996 to 1998 and as a Visiting research worker at IPK and John Innes Centre from 1992 to 1995. Viktor obtained a PhD in plant genetics from the Institute Genetics and Cytology, Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Minsk, Belarus in August 1992. Furthermore, Viktor gained experience as the Head of agromony department at an Agricultural farm from May 1986 to August 1989.
Viktor Korzun obtained a Diplom in Agronomy with a focus on breeding and genetics from Belarusian Agricultural Academy in Gorki, Belarus from 1981 to 1986.
