Senior Software Engineer at KX

Daniel Morse has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Daniel currently holds the position of Senior Software Engineer at KX since August 2021. Prior to that, Daniel worked at Masabi for four years as an R&D Engineer. In this role, they focused on testing and evaluating new ideas while also contributing to electronic circuit building and PCB design. A significant project during their tenure was the development of the company's first in-house hardware, the Justride Validator.

Before Masabi, Daniel worked at Telemetry for eight years as a Systems Engineer. Their responsibilities included R&D, system administration, and software engineering. Daniel spent a year and a half in the New York office to establish the company's presence in the USA. Notable contributions included discovering new types of ad fraud and building detection methods.

Daniel also gained experience at Semafone as a Developer, where they built the data processing module of the Semafone product using open source technologies. Daniel briefly worked as a Software Engineer at Thales on the AIR9000 project, developing a ground mission management system for the Australian Army. Additionally, they worked as a Software Engineer at Motorola Mobility, focusing on access control systems and DRM.

Lastly, Daniel served as a Systems Engineer at CR2.

Daniel Morse obtained their Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Science and Physics from Curtin University, where they studied from 2002 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, they also acquired additional certifications throughout their career. In 2012, they received certification in Compilers from Coursera. Two years later, in 2014, they completed a course in Machine Learning from the same institution. Most recently, in March 2022, Daniel attended the KX Introductory Workshop and obtained a certification from KX.
