Austin Springer

Austin Springer has a diverse work experience in the media industry. Austin started their career in 2015 as a Play-By-Play/Color Broadcaster for OpenMic Broadcast Network. In 2016, they became the Head Student Director at KONQ 91.9 FM. Austin then interned at Rocking M Media, LLC in 2018 and worked as a Student Reporter at KKSU Channel 8 News. In 2020, they joined Rodda Paint Co as a Sales Associate and later became a Driver. In 2023, they worked as an Outside Sales Representative at UniFirst Corporation, and currently, they are the News Production Director / Master Control Operator at KXLY TV.

Austin Springer earned a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from Kansas State University between 2017 and 2020. Before attending Kansas State, they studied at Dodge City Community College from 2016 to 2017 and the University of Houston-Downtown from 2015 to 2016, but did not receive a degree or specialize in any particular field of study during that time.
