Dato’ Lim Kheng Yew was appointed to the Board on 12 August 1992.
Dato’ Lim Kheng Yew is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He started his career with international accounting firms in London then Kuala Lumpur. Subsequently, he was attached to a leading merchant bank in Kuala Lumpur. At present, he is also a Director of TSM Global Berhad.
Dato’ Lim Kheng Yew is a substantial shareholder of the Company. He is the father of Mr Lim Tze Thean, the CEO and a substantial shareholders of the Company. He has no family relationship with any other Directors of the Company.
Save for the related party transactions and recurrent related party transactions as disclosed in the Annual Report, he has not entered into any transaction, whether directly or indirectly, which has a conflict of interest with the Company. He has not been convicted for any offences within the past 10 years other than traffic offences.

The Property segment includes the properties leased out for rental income or held for long-term capital appreciation. Its subsidiaries include KYM Industries (M) Sdn. Bhd., which manufactures and sells corrugated fiberboards and boxes; Polypulp Enterprises Sdn. Bhd., which is engaged in investment holding; KYM Properties Sdn. Bhd., which is engaged in property management, and Hasrat Meranti Sdn. Bhd., which is engaged in investment holding, and manufacture and sale of multi-wall industrial paper bags. Its subsidiaries, Anabatic Sdn. Bhd. and Teguh Amalgamated Sdn. Bhd., are engaged in property investment.
